Join us for our 1st meeting of the year on Tuesday, January 6 at 7:00 PM as we welcome Mayor Joi Washington as our featured speaker for the NAACP Media Area Branch January 2026 General Membership Meeting.
Mayor Washington made history as the first woman and first person of color to serve as Mayor of Media Borough. A Moore College of Art & Design graduate, Media Borough Council Member and longtime Media resident, she will join us for a thoughtful, community-centered conversation about what makes Media special, the needs of residents, and how we can continue working together to ensure Media remains a thriving, safe, and welcoming borough for all.
