We’re proud to celebrate the creativity and thoughtfulness shared through our Annual Black History Month Poster Contest. This year’s theme — African American figures honored on U.S. postage stamps — inspired powerful student artwork that honored Black history, culture, and legacy in meaningful and creative ways.
We extend our sincere thanks to the participating schools for uplifting student voices and supporting arts-based learning:
Mother of Providence Regional Catholic School
Notre Dame de Lourdes School
Saint Francis of Assisi Parish School
Springton Lake Middle School
Indian Lane Elementary School
Media Elementary School
Rose Tree Elementary School
Scenic Hills Elementary School
Thank you to the educators, administrators, families, and especially the students whose artwork made this year’s contest so impactful. Your creativity continues to inspire our community. Here are some shots from this year’s event! Thank you to our special guest Mayor Joi Washington for speaking to our students.
