This year, our program focuses on Our Rights, Our Responsibility: Protecting the Promise of the Constitution with a keynote address offered by Vince Stango, Executive Vice President and COO of the National Constitution Center.
The occasion will highlight the induction of remarkable community heroes into the MLK Spirit Hall of Fame, recognizing their outstanding contributions to uplifting constitutional rights.
This year’s Spirit Hall of Fame inductees include:
- Martha Hickson, along with young adult advocates Miranda and Mitchell, honored for their leadership in advancing the Freedom to Read Act (2024) in New Jersey.
- Centro De Apoyo Comunitario, recognized for its commitment to promoting the well-being and rights of immigrant communities
